The Kanawha Amateur Radio Club, Inc. (KARC) is mix of mature, new and non-amateur radio operators who offer support to each other related to the many facets of amateur radio operation such as contesting, digital modes, general interest, public service, repeaters, VHF.UHF, HF, 2 Meter, club and AREA nets, support youth groups, amateur radio education sessions and ARRL VE Testing sessions.

The KARC partiipates in the annual ARRL Field Day event, WV QSO Party, ARRL WV State Convention planning, JOTA, along with parades, runs, etc.

The KARC meets the first Friday of the month beginning with a Social Time, followed by amateur radio related Program, Business Session and ARRL VE Testing Session.

All amateurs, whether a member or non-member of the KARC are welcome to attend the meetings along with prospective members, testing participants as the meeting is open to the public.

The KARC provides communication through sources such as, the KARC Sunday evening  2 meter net and the ARES 2 meter Net.  Also, activities and other interests may be found on the KARC webpage.
