2025 NYQP Review
The New York QSO Party went very well from the reports I have received and the number of scores posted on 3830.com.
N2Y (KI2D and NK2Y ops) had 2644 QSOs as a multi-multi, 1200 CW and 1444 phone! Nice job guys! Tom N2CU did great as always as a mobile with 1338 CW QSOs and 222 phone QSOs on a bunch of county lines. If you haven't done a mobile contest, this is a sensational score. There are many other great scores and still many not reported yet.
I had 314 CW QSOs and 61 multipliers with a limited time effort. Not too bad with my temporary antennas. I've got to get my tower and antennas fixed soon!
Erie Canal 200th Anniversary Review
The 200th Anniversay of the Erie Canal went very well! A lot of stations activated and many QSOs were made. A big thank you to Matt K2EAG, Angela N3ARB and Mike N2MAK for getting everyone motaviated!
I activated at Lock 51 in Jordan NY for both US-6532 the Erie Canalway National Heritage Corridor and US-8098 the Empire State Trail. I was surprised by how many stations called considering these two parks have been activated often.
My ARRL email W2LC@arrl.org and W2LC@arrl.net have both been working!
